Decks by Kiefer LLC
This deck is an extension of the existing porch.
Cable rails by Cable Bullet preserve the view.
By raising the rail height to 42” in the curved section and adding a 12” wide top rail, a bar was created to enjoy a glass of wine and view the forest.
Construction is treated lumber framing on concrete footings. All visible lumber is Ipe. 1×6 screw + plug surface. 3” x 4” railing posts with 2×6 top rail and a 1 ½” x 12” laminated aMbooo bar top.

Casey Fence and Deck
Partners: Advantage Lumber, FastenMaster & KeyLink Fencing & Railing
This client had a real IPE deck on his previous home but was not pleased with the builder. once he found out we use UC4B .23 Critically treated framing lumber with 2×10 joists set at 12 inches on center, he was immediately comfortable. Then we suggested the black aluminum rails to go with the neighborhood mandated tan fascia, post and beam wrap. to eliminate unsightly butt joints, we created a 2-board center divider. We opted for the oversized, 16-inch fascia to hide the future under deck drain system.

Green Shield Deck Builders
Our two-level deck adds visual appeal and functionality, offering homeowners versatile spaces. Its uniqueness lies in the strategic use of materials and design. The upper level features durable Vista Railings in bronze, while the open lower level offers unobstructed views.
We used KDAT framing and boards for longevity and a refined look. The dual-level design provides multiple usage options, from relaxation to entertainment. Our team’s creativity shines in the mix of railed and open spaces, demonstrating our ability to cater to homeowner’s needs. The bronze Vista Railings exemplify our commitment to high-quality materials.
Despite the project’s complexity due to two-level construction, our team delivered a functional and attractive deck. Innovative Footing Pads at the deck posts’ base ensure the deck’s durability in unpredictable weather.
Visually, the deck’s refined KDAT lumber finish and sleek bronze railing create a striking contrast. This project showcases our ability to overcome challenges, delivering a deck that’s functional, aesthetically pleasing, and durable.
