Majestic Outdoors

This may be the most interesting, stressful and fun project that created new ideas. Original design for this poolscape was a patio, with planning, and permitting approvals we discovered it would exceed the impervious allowance. Now let’s make it a deck and it’s challenge as the grade was changing to avoid adding railings, and the underside would have limited accessibility. Drainage and ventilation will be important but we need a more sustainable material for the framing. What framing material is going to give a long lasting performance, is the questions. Aluminum framing was the idea and after some head scratching we said let’s go for it. With limited use on alternative framing we embarked on the build of a lifetime to create a curved deck out of aluminum framing, even the manufacture was unsure how to do it. Through the teams determination of the main build it now came down to the how to curve the perimeter. We ended up using sheets of thick gauge aluminum to weld and make perfect curves we could template and build forms for on our deck board curves. Ideas, Determination, Dedication, Talent equals Success, now we have a one in a million build!

Hen-House Decks

These homeowners first met us at a Home & Garden Show a few years ago. They were drawn to our creativity and attention to detail, looking for a deck that would not only be spacious and functional but also full of character and originality. From the beginning, their vision aligned perfectly with ours something truly unique that would transform their backyard into a one-of-a-kind retreat.

This project came with its fair share of challenges. Located 2 1/2 hours south of where we normally work, it required careful coordination and planning from start to finish. The design included multiple custom inlays and picture-frame borders that continue seamlessly down the steps a feature that demanded exact precision and craftsmanship to align perfectly throughout.

One of the biggest challenges involved the roof structure. At first, it seemed impossible to attach it to the house due to height restrictions. After re-engineering the layout, we lowered the center section of the deck to create the necessary headroom. Although the homeowners were unsure at first, they trusted our vision, and it became their favorite part of the entire space.

This project is a reflection of our creativity, problem-solving, and craftsmanship a masterpiece of modern deck building.
