October 23, 2011 – Chicago, IL | NADRA hosted their Annual Meeting & Second Annual National Deck Awards Ceremony at The Museum of Science and Industry on Thursday, October 13th, 2011. Attendees included NADRA members & guests, NADRA’s National Board of Directors, local Chapter Directors, NADRA diamond level sponsors, Fiberon and Real Outdoor Living, Gold Sponsor, GAF, sliver level sponsors, Tamko, Wolf, Latitudes decking & railing, Deckorators, TimberTech, and Screw Products, bronze level sponsors, rdi, Phoenix Manufacturing, ecolife and Everflashing, along with many other industry professionals.
NADRA’s night at the Museum kicked off with a one-of- a- kind, cocktail hour that included a tour of Chicago’s “Greenest home” exhibit. Following the cocktail hour NADRA members and guests made their way into the 4-story high Omnimax theatre for the annual meeting and awards ceremony!
Shawn Miller, NADRA President opened the meeting and was master of ceremony for the evening. Michael Beaudry, NADRA’s Executive VP introduced the membership to Mark DeMarco, NADRA’s long-time Treasurer. After serving his full term on NADRA’s executive committee, DeMarco was asked to take over the presentation, covering NADRA‘s year-in-review.
