FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

August 4, 2026 – Tri County Lumber Company President Dave Ables shared the company has added to its leadership team:

“As we celebrate 25 years of serving builders, contractors, remodelers, and homeowners across Central Minnesota & Wisconsin, we’re excited to announce an important addition to our leadership team. Please join me in welcoming Carson Velaski to The Tri County Lumber Company, a proud member of NADRA.org, as our new director of sales and estimating.

Carson joins us with an impressive background in the building materials industry. Most recently, he served as Regional Sales Manager with US LBM, where he led regional sales initiatives across Northern Minnesota and Western Wisconsin, coached a team of outside sales professionals, and helped drive significant regional growth. Prior to that role, Carson served as general manager of a $30+ million location, after progressing through inside sales and assistant manager positions—a testament to his leadership, operational excellence, and customer-first approach.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Carson proudly served in the United States Army National Guard, where he developed the leadership, discipline, and commitment to service that continue to define him today. Carson and his wife, Samantha, are the proud parents of two sons. Outside of work, he enjoys hunting, fishing, competing in triathlons, and spending time with his family up north.

As director of sales and estimating, Carson will lead our sales and estimating teams with a focus on developing our people, strengthening customer partnerships, improving our sales processes, and driving sustainable, profitable growth. His leadership will play an important role as we continue expanding our presence throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin while delivering the exceptional service and expertise our customers have come to expect from The Tri County Lumber Company

At 3 Sons/Tri County Lumber Company, we believe our greatest investment is our people. Carson’s addition reflects our continued commitment to building an exceptional team that will serve our builders, contractors, remodelers, DIY customers, and communities for the next 25 years and beyond.

Please join Lori Ables, myself, and our entire Tri County Lumber family in welcoming Carson to the team.”
