FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

06 August 2024-Simpson Strong-Tie, the leader in engineered structural connectors and building solutions, today announced that it has acquired Fulton, Missouri-based Monet DeSauw Inc., a leading manufacturer of large saws used in the fabrication of trusses within the US and Canada.

Since 1992, Monet DeSauw has been building a variety of quality saws ranging from simple push-button operation to top-of-the-line servo-driven, automated saws. Much like Simpson Strong-Tie, Monet DeSauw attributes their success to its tremendous employee culture. Working closely with their customers, Monet DeSauw listens to their ideas and builds reliable products based on industry requirements. Their goal is to provide customers with the latest technology and best-quality products available by understanding their needs of on-time delivery, fast and reliable support, and dependable maintenance.

“We’re so pleased to welcome Monet DeSauw to the Simpson Strong-Tie family,” said Ryan Kaelin, Simpson Strong-Tie senior vice president market development – construction solutions. “This acquisition is another demonstration of our commitment to offering our component manufacturing customers advanced equipment and software, providing complete solutions for this important industry segment.”

“We have grown our company into a first-class Component Manufacturing equipment and services provider,” said Kevin Troesser, founder and president, Monet DeSauw Inc. “We are excited to join the Simpson Strong-Tie team to further our offerings and look forward to future opportunities to grow with our customers and the industry.”

Monet DeSauw products will have a presence in the Simpson Strong-Tie booth when the company exhibits at the 2024 Building Component Manufacturers Conference (BCMC), October 7-11, 2024, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
