Builders FirstSource, a proud member of NADRA.org, announced the company has acquired L&P Building Supply in Las Cruces, NM.
L&P serves customers in southern New Mexico and El Paso, Texas, with lumber, building materials, and manufactured components including trusses and wall panels.
1st West Mergers and Acquisitions represented L&P in the deal, according to Managing Director John Wagner. The transaction marks 1stWEST M&A’s third completed deal with Builders FirstSource.
L&P Building Supply traces its origins to 1956, when its name reflected its initial focus on lath and plaster. While continuing to offer stucco, L&P has expanded into a regional supplier of lumber, building materials, and components. Today, it operates a full-service lumberyard and an on-site truss and wall panel manufacturing facility.

The newest acquisition joins Gleckler & Sons, Innovative Construction Group, Precision Design and Trim, and Premium Building Components, all of which joined BFS this year.
