HBSDealer Staff-9/8/2025-Illinois-based Parksite, Inc. has appointed Bob Higgins to president.
“With close to 21 years of proven leadership with Parksite, including the past five as Senior Vice President of Sales, Bob is a natural fit,” stated George Pattee, chairman. “His deep industry knowledge, proven background, and strong relationships make him exceptionally well-suited to lead Parksite.”
Higgins brings more than 30 years of leadership in the building products industry. Parksite says Higgins has spearheaded the development of strategic supplier partnerships, expanded the portfolio with new products, integrated acquisitions, and designed successful sales strategies.
Before joining Parksite, Higgins worked for Weyerhaeuser. “Parksite is a special place with a special culture and I am honored to lead us into the next chapter of our associate-owned company story,” said Higgins. “Our goal is simple – be the best distributor in every market we serve. By being customer centric and operating with excellence we will provide value to our customers and return value to our shareholders – our associate owners,” continued Higgins.
The announcement comes on the heels of current CEO Ron Heitzman announcing his retirement after 25 years with Parksite.
Nationally, Parksite has 21 locations and over 700 employee-owners.
