NADRA Announces Biggest Industry Event of The Year to be Held at the American Visionary Art Museum, October 10th, 2012 in Baltimore, MD

August 8, 2012  – Quakertown, PA| Today, The North American Deck and Railing Association (NADRA) launched registration for the 2012 main event being held in conjunction with DeckExpo. The big night includes a cocktail reception, annual meeting, industry awards, silent auction, dinner, deck competition & the well-known after-party with a live performance at the Hard Rock Café. Registration for this ticketed event is now open at www.NADRA.org.

What might seem like a party to some is the most significant fundraiser of the year for NADRA. Much weighs on the outcome of this leading industry event.  Participation from industry professionals is essential to the growth of the association.

NADRA’s main event will take place at Baltimore’s American Visionary Art Museum at 800 Key Highway, Baltimore, MD 21230 at 5:30pm on Wednesday, October 10th, 2012.

NADRA Builder Member, Sean McAleer from Deck Remodelers tells NADRA “My entire team looks forward to this event, especially my lead guys that have some skin in the game. There will be six of us in Baltimore to attend the Awards.  We wait all year for it! Everyone wants bragging rights to having built an award winner!”

During the annual meeting, current members will vote in new directors. You can see and hear the “Year in Review” to learn about the state of your industry and your association’s involvement. Gain important insight into leading industry programs like Deck Safety Month, Deck for a Soldier and NADRA’s Master Deck Professional Certification program.  NADRA will also announce the 2012 recipient of the Terry Award, which recognizes industry leaders for their outstanding contributions to the decking industry and the association.

Following the meeting, guests are invited to tour the exhibits at the museum. Dinner will be served on the 3rd floor of the museum. Before the night ends, NADRA will announce the winners of the 2012 National Deck Competition.

Following the event at the American Visionary Art Museum, and while the night is still young; guests are invited across the water to celebrate like rock stars at The Hard Rock Café with a live performance by The New Romance.

“It’s not often we have the opportunity to get together as an industry” said Michael Beaudry, Executive V.P of NADRA. “The annual meeting is a chance for the industry to come together, meet, greet and motivate each other and to make the spirit surrounding the night last throughout the year.”

Early bird pricing is now available. Go to www.NADRA.org to get in on the action before it’s sold out.  This is an event you don’t want to miss!
