NADRA.ORG is proud to announce that John Patrick Kozal, P.E., FASCE with Deckorators, Inc (a subsidiary of UFP Industries, Inc.) has recently been elected as a Fellow of America Society of Civil Engineers. In recognition of his contributions to the engineering and building industries, the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) has conferred the grade of ‘Fellow’ upon Mr. Kozal. This prestigious honor is bestowed upon those who have demonstrated leadership and technical abilities in one or more civil engineering disciplines.
As NADRA’s Code Co-Chair, Mr. Kozal brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the organization which is highly valued. He oversees the development of vital building codes and regulations for the North American deck, dock, and railing industry. He works collaboratively with industry stakeholders, government officials, and other regulatory bodies to ensure public safety and building integrity. Mr. Kozal received his civil engineering degree from Michigan Technological University in 1993 and obtained his professional engineering license in 2001. Mr. Kozal’s election to the grade of Fellow is a testament to his commitment to excellence and dedication to his profession.
