Fiberon Hires Shellie Sellards as Vice President of Marketing

NEW LONDON, N.C. – Fiberon®, a leading manufacturer of PVC and composite decking, announces the hiring of Shellie Sellards as the vice president of marketing. Shellie will officially join Fiberon by month’s end and report directly to the company’s president, Doug Mancosh.

Shellie held multiple positions at the Trex Company, including director of marketing, , director of brand and channel management, and finally director of strategy and business development. As the director of marketing, Shellie led the company’s marketing strategy for decking and railing products. Through her efforts, including portfolio management, new product development, advertising and product support, Trex grew both its decking and railing lines.

“Shellie’s powerful combination of building-industry and consumer experience provides well established brand development expertise and I expect her to have an immediate impact on our business,” said Doug Mancosh, president of Fiberon. “Shellie’s joining a very talented marketing team and with her guidance, we’re prepared to rapidly expand the Fiberon brand.”

She has also served as the director of strategic marketing, and brand and integrated marketing director for Owens Corning insulation products. Prior to that, she was a brand manager for The Dannon Company, launching the Dannon La Creme brand. Shellie earned her MBA and undergraduate degrees in economics and political science from Duke University.
