Deceuninck North America’s Booth Featuring Clubhouse Decking and Railing Named Best Booth Award Winner at DeckExpo 2014

Island Booth Took Top Honors in category at annual Decking and Remodeling Show

Deceuninck North America, a leading designer and manufacturer of high-quality systems for windows, doors and outdoor living, was recognized as a Best Booth Award Winner (Island Booth: 400 sq. ft. and up) at the DeckExpo/Remodeling Show/JLC LIVE, held Oct. 22-24 in Baltimore. The booth showcased the company’s new lighting, baluster and curved rail products for Clubhouse Decking and Railing. It was built by Clubhouse Decking and Railing customer Alvin Smith of Hickory Dickory Decks based in Bangor, ME.

“We are excited that our innovative approach to creating unique outdoor living spaces was recognized at this year’s show by attendees, who voted on the winning booth,” said Filip Geeraert, president and CEO of Deceuninck North America. “Our booth was designed to showcase many of the new options for our Clubhouse Decking products and to engage show attendees with its island configuration. Alvin Smith of Hickory Dickory Decks did an amazing job creating the deck for the booth and we are honored that it was among the Best Booth Award Winners at this important show for residential construction professionals.”

New to DeckExpo 2014, the Best Booth Program was created to engage attendees and inspire a culture of exhibiting excellence. Exhibitors were judged on exhibit presentation, product presentation and exhibitor participation and voted on by event attendees (via text message).  The award categories include:  Island Booth (400 square feet and up); Linear Booth (100 square feet – 300 square feet); and Honorable Mention.

Deceuninck North America’s Clubhouse Decking is 100-percent PVC and contains no wood or wood fillers. It is formulated to be up to 25-percent lighter than most wood and composites, and its dense cell structure offers superior strength and solid underfoot feel with Deceuninck’s Korelite™ technology. Korelite also helps to keep moisture out and reduces the opportunity for degradation from mold, mildew, freezing and thawing. SunShield® technology helps protect Clubhouse from the harsh effects of the sun, including UV resistance and fade protection, resistance to cracking and brittleness, and surface degradation. Clubhouse Decking is 100-percent recyclable and does not require painting or staining. It features a limited lifetime warranty with 25-year fade and stain protection backed by Deceuninck.

Deceuninck’s Clubhouse Elite Railing System is engineered to be longer-lasting than painted wood and is backed by a limited lifetime warranty with 25-year fade and stain coverage. It is 100- percent recyclable, and the low-maintenance nature of the product means no chemical cleaning, painting or staining is necessary. Available in white, walnut and black, Elite Railing’s low-gloss, low-maintenance finish means that the product never needs to be painted. For extra protection, SunShield is also included.
